Generators

Generators, as you might guess, are a type of module that actually generates a sound, as opposed to controllers, which can only affect the relationships between sounds. The most common generator you'll find in our library is the sampler, but they can also be analog inputs (mics, guitar, synth, etc.), or MIDI outputs.

It's also important to note that unlike controllers, generators CANNOT hold other modules. So, when you see a generator (sampler, audio insert, or midi output), that's always the end of that chain of modules.
